Innovative S Pen and versatile Flex mode

The S Pen Fold Edition⁶ for the first foldable Samsung smartphone impresses with an almost natural writing experience with extremely high precision. You can also watch videos hands-free or join conferences in Flex mode. Practical and convenient: In the split screen, you can see your conversation partner in the upper area, for example, while you can write notes with the S Pen⁷ in the lower area.

*The S Pen Fold Edition is not included. It can be purchased separately and is only compatible with the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. The S Pen Fold edition is only supported on the inner display. It is recommended to only use the S Pen Pro or the S Pen Fold edition, which is specially designed for foldable devices. Other models may damage the display. ⁷ Some applications may not support Flex mode.

Multitasking smoother than ever

You can work with up to three apps at the same time on the large main display – and open five additional applications if you wish⁸ ⁹. To start multitasking quickly and efficiently, save groups of apps together and recall them together from the side panel. The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G inspires with maximum productivity like a PC, but fits in almost any pocket.

*Some applications may not support Multi Active Window. ⁹ Up to three apps can be opened on the main display with split screen, in addition five additional apps can be opened in the pop-up view, which makes eight apps in total.

IPx8 waterproof

As the first foldable Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is waterproof according to IPx8 certification¹⁰. So it can be opened easily even if you are surprised by a rain shower.

*Protection against permanent submersion at a depth of 1.5 m for 30 minutes and only in clear water. No protection against salt water and other liquids, especially soapy water, alcohol and/or heated liquid. The SIM card holder must always close completely with the device so that no water can penetrate through it.

The elegantly crafted aluminum frame of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is as light as it is robust and reliably protects the folding hinge and the internal components from damage.

Holds up well

Resistant to scratches: The inner display of the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G made of Samsung Ultra Thin Glass is the perfect solution for flexible displays. Thanks to Corning® Gorilla Glass® Victus™, the front display is of course also extremely resistant.
